Wrexham Foresters 5–3 Borras Park Rangers

Wrexham Foresters start the FAW Futsal League North campaign with a 5–3 home victory over a competitive Borras Park Rangers side, while not making it easy on themselves.

FIRST HALF – FORESTERS TAKE CONTROL

Sam Bryan opened the scoring just 12’9” into the match, finishing off a well-worked move and setting the tone for the night.

Moments later, at 18’33”, George Yarwood doubled the advantage with a composed finish to make it 2–0, giving Foresters a strong foothold.

Borras responded shortly after, but the Foresters midfield and rotations stayed sharp, continuing to create pressure and chances.

At 25’, Davies J. restored the two-goal cushion after a clever assist from Forbes A., making it 3–1.

Five minutes later, Foresters extended the lead again when Gibson J. struck at 27’, showing brilliant movement and timing inside the attacking half.

The Foresters went into the break with a lead and control of the tempo.

SECOND HALF – PRESSURE, RESPONSES, AND CLOSING THE GAME

Borras Park came out aggressive in the second half, pushing to get back into the match. But Foresters responded with their most important goal of the night.

At 33’55”, Sam Bryan fired in his second of the match, a crucial moment that pushed the lead to 5–2 and steadied the momentum.

Borras scored again through Ruben Lima Teixeira at 40’, closing the gap to 5–3, but it was too late to mount a comeback. Foresters managed the final minutes with maturity and composure to secure all three points.
