Had time to reflect on another progressive and impressive result for this newly formed group of lads.
That was a battle against a very strong physical side and I’m sure many of you have bruises to prove it. They gave us lots of different challenges this weekend which we accepted head on and dealt with.
Keeper and Defence were in the main solid hence why we ended up with a clean sheet and we had a couple of clear chances to nick all three points.
It definitely wasn’t about pretty football passing patterns this weekend but digging in and matching the opposition’s effort, physicality and commitment which we al did admirably to get that 0-0 result.
My player of the match today was Hugo Bielich who’s showing maturity and consistency in his performances
