Match Report | U10 Boys v Rhos Aelwyd (Home)
Despite challenging conditions, it was a positive and hard-fought day at home as our teams took on Rhos Aelwyd in what proved to be a muddy, competitive set of fixtures.
All matches were played in tough conditions, demanding effort, resilience, and teamwork from every player. Each game provided valuable learning moments and highlighted areas we’ll continue to work on when training resumes in the New Year.
A special mention goes to our Players of the Match — Olek, Adrian, Steff, and Iolo — who perfectly embodied the teamwork, effort, and attitude we look for. United as a group, covered in mud, and smiling at the final whistle, they demonstrated exactly what grassroots football is about.
Their awards were earned through listening to in-game feedback, working hard for their teammates, and showing commitment throughout. Adrian’s muddy knees were a clear sign of the effort and passion on display, even sliding in celebration after getting on the scoresheet.
The coaches are already looking forward to getting back to work after the Christmas break with such a fantastic group of players.
