Wrexham Foresters U13s were narrowly defeated 1–0 by Borras Park Albion on Saturday morning in a highly competitive match that was decided by the finest of margins.
The game was evenly balanced from the opening whistle, with both sides well organised and battling hard across the pitch. Foresters matched their opponents for intensity and structure, defending well and showing composure in possession during a tight first half that produced few clear chances.
The decisive moment came shortly after the restart, when Borras found the breakthrough at 50 minutes. Despite the setback, the Foresters responded positively, pushing forward in search of an equaliser and maintaining pressure for long spells in the second half.
The U13s showed resilience and determination throughout, continuing to compete right to the final whistle and never allowing the game to drift away. While the goal proved the difference on the day, the performance itself was encouraging and reflected the progress being made within the group.
A tough result to take, but a strong team display full of effort, organisation, belief and the kind of performance that builds confidence and lays the foundations for future success.
Plenty to be proud of. Onwards and upwards. 💚⚽
