Wrexham Foresters U14s produced a confident and well-structured performance on Saturday morning, earning a 4–1 home victory over FC Queens Park in a match that showcased teamwork, composure, and attacking quality.
The Foresters made a fast start and were rewarded early. Just six minutes in, Edwards opened the scoring, finishing calmly after good build-up play. The pressure continued, and at 16 minutes, Edwards doubled his tally, this time converting from a well-timed assist by Ward to give the hosts a deserved early advantage.
Queens Park responded well and managed to pull a goal back midway through the half, but Foresters remained composed and organised, seeing out the remainder of the first half with discipline and control.
The second half saw Foresters raise the tempo once again. At 58 minutes, C. Arrowsmith restored the two-goal cushion with a well-taken finish, rewarding sustained attacking pressure and smart movement in the final third.
The decisive moment came shortly after, when Anderson added the fourth goal at 67 minutes, finishing confidently after an assist from Arrowsmith to cap off a strong all-round team performance.
Despite a physical contest in the latter stages, with a couple of cautions shown, the Foresters maintained their structure and game management, closing out the match professionally to secure all three points.
A positive display from the U14s, highlighting good attacking combinations, strong work rate, and continued progress as a group.
Well done to all players involved. 💚⚽
