Everyone at Wrexham Foresters is proud to see one of our own, Matthew Waller, competing in the Baller League this season.
Matthew is representing Pathetico Madrid FC in the fast-growing six-a-side indoor competition, which brings together talented players from across the football and futsal community. The league has quickly built a reputation for its fast-paced format, technical quality, and exciting style of play.
While Matthew continues to enjoy this new experience, his contribution to the Foresters environment this season has been equally valuable. On and off the court, he has played an important role within the squad, bringing energy, commitment, and leadership to training and matchdays.
He has also been a positive influence on many of the younger players around the club, setting a strong example through his work ethic and willingness to support others in their development.
When asked about his goals for the Baller League season, Matthew kept things simple and focused.
“We want to finish in the top four, and I’m looking forward to the experience with my mates.”
Matthew’s attitude reflects exactly what the club values within our walls. It’s all about enjoying the game, competing with pride, and supporting those around you.
Wrexham Foresters will be following his progress closely throughout the season and wish Matthew and Pathetico Madrid FC the very best as the campaign continues.
It’s always a proud moment to see players connected to the club testing themselves in new environments, and we’re excited to see what the rest of the season holds for him.
