Wrexham Foresters Women continued their perfect start to life as a new club with an emphatic 17–1 away victory over Buckley Town Ladies in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup, advancing comfortably into the next round.

First Half – Setting the Standard

Foresters wasted no time asserting control, moving the ball with pace and purpose from the opening minutes. The early pressure paid off as the goals began to flow, with Savannah Miller opening her account early and setting the tempo for the match.

The midfield combination of Morgan Churchill, Kate Tasker, and Laura Evans dictated play, allowing Foresters to stretch Buckley and create chance after chance. Kirstie Kural led by example, combining intelligent movement with clinical finishing, while the wide players consistently exploited space.

Despite Buckley pulling a goal back, Foresters responded immediately and went into the break firmly in control, showing composure and ruthlessness in front of goal.

Second Half – Relentless and Ruthless

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Foresters maintaining intensity and professionalism throughout. Rotations were managed well, substitutions kept the tempo high, and the attacking intent never dropped.

Goals came from all areas of the pitch, underlining the depth and balance within the squad. The defensive unit remained disciplined, limiting Buckley’s chances and ensuring the team finished strongly.

It was another statement performance from Foresters as they made it two wins from two to start the season, with progression in the Welsh Cup adding further momentum to an already impressive opening spell.
