Captain’s Reflection

Morgan Churchill – Team Captain

What an incredible start to the season and a brilliant way to end the year.

Going unbeaten in all 10 matches so far, progressing through three stages of the Welsh Cup, and sharing unforgettable moments together, including our amazing Christmas party, this season has already delivered so many highs. Behind those results has been an incredible amount of hard work, attention to detail, and a real willingness from everyone to push themselves for the team.

We’ve grown together week by week, building strong performances alongside a clear identity on the pitch. The consistency we’ve shown, both in league and cup competitions, reflects the standards we set for ourselves and the belief we have in one another. We’ve worked hard, grown together, and built something genuinely special as a team.

Looking ahead to next year, our mindset doesn’t change. We’ll continue to push ourselves, work incredibly hard, and aim for even more success. I’m so proud of this amazing group of girls and how we continue to represent Wrexham Foresters every time we play.

I’d also like to thank everyone who continues to support us. The committee, our team sponsors that are local Wrexham women owned businesses, volunteers, families, and the wider community. Your support means a great deal to us and never goes unnoticed.

Looking forward to what’s to come for Wrexham Foresters in 2026. 💚⚽️

A Strong Foundation Moving Forward

The women’s team’s unbeaten run and cup progress are the result of a squad fully committed to improvement, accountability, and representing the club with pride. With momentum firmly behind them, the group heads into the new year confident, focused, and hungry to continue building on an outstanding start.

From everyone at the club, we wish our players, supporters, and families a Merry Christmas and a successful 2026.
