Grassroots Focus: A Big Weekend Ahead for Our Youth Teams

This weekend sees another busy and exciting round of fixtures for our Wrexham Foresters grassroots teams, with four age groups in action across league and cup competitions. It’s a great opportunity to showcase the continued development, commitment, and progress of our young players as they represent the club.

U10 Boys vs Brymbo Lodge

Our U10s kick off the weekend with a league fixture against Brymbo Lodge. The group continues to grow week by week, focusing on confidence on the ball, teamwork, and enjoying their football. Fixtures like this are an important part of their learning journey and a chance to put training into practice in a competitive environment.

U11 Boys vs Borras Park Albion

The U11s face Borras Park Albion in what promises to be another valuable test. This squad has been developing strong habits both on and off the pitch, and the match provides a great opportunity to build consistency, decision-making, and resilience as the season progresses.

U13 Boys: League Clash – 2nd vs 5th

One of the standout fixtures of the weekend sees our U13s, currently sitting second in the league, take on Brymbo FC, who are placed fifth. With both teams competing at the top end of the table, this promises to be a competitive and exciting league encounter. The squad has shown excellent commitment and focus so far this season, and this match will be another important step in maintaining momentum.

U14 Boys: Shield Cup vs Saltney Town

Our U14s turn their attention to cup football as they take on Saltney Town in the Shield Cup. Cup competitions always bring a different challenge, and this fixture offers the group a chance to test themselves in a knockout environment while continuing their development and team cohesion.

As always, these fixtures are about more than results. They represent the hard work of players, coaches, volunteers, and families who support our grassroots programme week in, week out. We wish all teams the very best of luck this weekend and look forward to seeing our young Foresters continue to grow, learn, and enjoy their football.

💚⚽️ Up the Foresters!
