Three Foresters Called Up to Represent England in UEFA Women’s Futsal EURO Qualifiers

Wrexham Foresters are proud to announce that Kirstie Kural, Laura Tobin, and Rebecca Foster have been selected to represent England Futsal in the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Futsal EURO Qualifiers.

The qualifying round matches will take place from March 18th, 19th & the 21st, with England competing in Group B against:

  • Bosnia & Herzegovina

  • Finland

  • Serbia

Fixtures will be played across the international window, with England facing each opponent once as they look to secure progression in the qualifying campaign.

This is a proud moment for the club and a reflection of the standards being set within our women’s and girl’s programme.

A Special Milestone for Foster

While all three call-ups are a huge achievement, this window marks Rebecca Foster’s first senior national team call-up.

Rebecca has been played a pivotal role this season in key moments with the team, bringing intensity, composure, and tactical discipline to key matches like against Flint in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup. Beyond her excellent season so far playing club futsal with Bolton Futsal, her work rate and ability to manage high-pressure moments have played an important role in training with the team which has helped establish its strong start this season.

To see that progression rewarded at international level is a proud moment for her, her teammates, and everyone involved in her development.

Experience and Leadership: Kural & Tobin

Kirstie Kural continues to set the standard both on and off the court / pitch. A leader in big moments, Kirstie’s ability to control tempo and deliver in decisive fixtures has been central to Foresters’ early-season momentum. Her leadership and performances in high-intensity matches have demonstrated exactly why she remains a consistent presence at international level.

Laura Tobin has also been instrumental in key games, combining physicality with intelligent movement and composure in transition. Her defensive awareness and ability to convert crucial opportunities have helped turn tight contests into positive results for the team.

Together, all three players have contributed significantly to building a competitive, ambitious environment that continues to raise standards within the squad.

From Local Programme to International Stage

These call-ups are not just individual achievements but they represent the pathway that is being built within the club.

From grassroots foundations to senior competition, the club remains committed to creating an environment where players can develop, compete, and progress to the highest levels of the game.

Everyone at Wrexham Foresters wishes Kirstie, Laura, and Rebecca the very best as they represent England on the international stage.

We couldn’t be prouder. 💚
